What are interdisciplinary studies?

A discipline is a concentrated study from a body of knowledge such as sociology, architecture or psychology.  Interdisciplinary studies are a combination of two of these bodies of knowledge, in my case, business and communication.

Why I choose this degree program...

I chose Interdisciplinary Studies primarily for the benefits of having a more well-rounded education along with extensive formal training in multiple concentrations. The Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (BIS) degree does not limit me to just one expertise or discipline to take into my professional career.  Unlike most degree programs, BIS allows me to become more diversified and better prepared for the many challenges that lie ahead.
